Introduction to Studio Devotions

Welcome...Stop and sit a while with me where I reflect on what it means to.
Slow down. Be present. Leave marks that heal.
Pay attention to those moments.
The ones that seem small - a conversation at the store, a name that suddenly feels heavy on your heart, a connection you can't quite explain. God is always weaving, always placing people in our paths, always preparing something we can't yet see.
I've learned this the hard way. Through loss that broke me open. Through a year of stepping away from everything - including my jewelry work - to learn how to be still, how to grieve, how to breathe again. Through watching God take threads I thought were about one thing and weave them into something entirely different.
Four and a half years ago, I lost my husband to cancer. This year, I'm engaged to be married again - to a man who was woven into my life through friendship, through shared struggles, through years of connections I didn't know were leading somewhere.
I'm returning to the studio now with new eyes and a new purpose. Studio Devotions is what I'm calling this chapter - stories, reflections, and handcrafted jewelry that invite you to slow down, notice what God is doing, and consider the legacy you're creating with your one precious life.
The marks we leave matter. Let's make them count.
